These were, yummy, light, and easy to make! Perfect for those who are on a high protein diet for weight/fat loss or lean muscle gain. I’m actually not over how delicious these tasted, so these are definitely a must try! Even though I say that for all my recipes lol 🙂
Recipe for tuna: serves 2
1 can organic salt free albacore tuna
1 organic cage free egg
1/2 an organic avocado
1/3 cup red onions (diced)
1 scallion (diced)
1/3 cup yellow bell pepper (diced)
1 tbsp jalapeño (diced)
1/2 tsp salt free mrs dash spice blend
A dash of sea salt and pepper
A dash of lemon juice (squeezed from lemon)
Mash tuna and avocado in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with 1/2 tsp coconut oil and form mini tuna patties. Fry each side for about 20 seconds and let it cool for 2 minutes before serving.
When ready, place on cauliflower bun (type in “cauliflower bun” in the search bar and you’ll find the recipe). I also layered these buns with my paleo mayonnaise, and mixed green veggies.
