BERRY PROTEIN BASH GREEN SMOOTHIE

I cannot go a day without having a green smoothie; I feel incomplete, but sometimes it is a little challenging coming up with different and creative recipes daily to spice up our daily smoothies. I always add a protein source to my smoothies because I use it as a meal replacement, and also based on my fitness goals, so all the smoothie recipes I will be posting or have posted so far all contain protein, but feel free to spice it up however you like, and check out simplegreensmoothies.com for more smoothie recipe ideas.

Recipe:

2 cups organic baby spinach
1 cup mixed strawberries and blueberries (frozen)
A handful of raw almonds
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup water
A dash of cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

Pour in a glass and enjoy!
