It’s Monday! And it’s a holiday for us Canadians because it’s Thanksgiving! Even though I had a festive foodgasm adventure with my family yesterday, I’m still in a festive mood, but with less calories and no junk haha.

I figured i’d slightly ease my way into my detox tomorrow with eating clean and meals today before beginning my juice and green smoothie detox. Happy Thanksgiving!

Recipe: makes 5 small burgers

1 large wild tilapia fillet
1 organic cage free egg
2 organic scallions
A handful of red onions, grape tomatoes, red peppers, and chives (chopped)
1 tsp Mrs Dash salt free spice blend
1/4 tsp Herbamere (or sea salt)
A dash of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Coconut oil (for frying)

Chop tilapia into small pieces and puree in a food processor.

Mix pureed tilapia with remaining ingredients in a bowl until well incorporated.

Form tilapia blend a 1 inch burger patties and fry both sides in a skillet over medium heat with coconut oil (about 1/4 tsp). Flip when edges start to brown.
